Telecom Operators in India – Launch of Best Offers for May 2017

Most of the India based telecom operators are presently focused at bringing new and attractive offers in the market. One of the major factors that motivated this kind of movement was the disruptive competition that was introduced immediately after the entry of Reliance Jio. The operators have planned to now revise some already existing prepaid mobile packs and introduce a few newer ones. Airtel for example is offering INR 399 and INR 244 comprising of 1GB data per day and unlimited calling for 70 days, to existing prepaid customers.

Likewise, giant telecom companies like Vodafone, Idea and Reliance Jio are focusing on releasing some new and attractive mobile recharge plans that are designed for new users who are to join their network. Some of the new user prepaid plans are as mentioned below:

  1. RCom FR148 Mobile Data Recharge Plan

Reliance Communications has launched its new mobile recharge plan of INR 148 in which it is giving out 1GB data per day with INR 50 worth talk time and validity of 70 days. There are no voice calling benefits with this plan. However, users will be able to make voice calls at 25 paise per minute.

The operator has rolled out two more plans i.e. FRC 54 and FRC 61 and both these offer 1GB data per day for 28 days. FRC 54 offers Reliance to Reliance calls at 10 paise/minute and local + STD calls at 25 paise/minute. FRC 61 plan gives Reliance to Reliance voice calls at 1paise/minute and other calls at 1 paise/2 sec.

  1. Airtel FRC 293 and FRC 449 mobile top up plans

Two new first recharge plans by Airtel are INR 293 and INR 449. Existing prepaid customers who are using the plans INR 244 and INR 399 are getting the same benefits as announced for the new plans. In the FRC 293 pack, user gets 1 GB data per day along with unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls for 70 days. The FRC 449 plan offers 1GB data per day and unlimited calls to any network for 70 days.

  1. Telenor India FR 73 plan

Telenor’s FR73 is a valid plan for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle based users. The FR73 plan offers 1GB 4G data per day for 28 days with INR 25 worth talk time and voice calls will be charged at 25 paise/min for 90 days. At the completion of 28 days, users can further extend the validity to another 28 days by recharging with STV 47.

  1. Reliance Jio INR 408 and INR 608 plan

Jio is offering two prepaid plans INR 408 offering 1GB data and INR 608 which gives 2GB data. Both the plans feature a validity of 84 days and unlimited voice calling to any network in the country.
